Titles: Mistress, Goddess, Ma'am and Her own choice
Every form of address says something slightly different, and Mistresses choose theirs deliberately. The profile is the rule book, so check it before you type a word. Where She states nothing, the common titles work like this:
- Mistress: the default across femdom, formal without being theatrical, used alone or followed by Her profile name.
- Goddess: for a woman whose dynamic centres on being adored; it belongs to worship, devotion and findom, and the goddess worship page shows the style live.
- Ma'am: crisp and disciplined, favoured by strict, service-minded Mistresses who run a room like a well-kept household.
- Lady or Domina: formal, slightly old-world titles some women prefer, always followed by Her name.
- Her chosen name: some Mistresses want a name alone, or a title of their own invention. Use it exactly as written, spelling and capitals included.
Titles to avoid, and why they grate
Do not upgrade Her title on your own initiative, from Mistress to Goddess, say, because it sounds more devoted. To Her it reads as not having looked. Casual endearments such as hun, sweetie, dear or gorgeous are worse: they put you on equal, flirtatious footing, which is precisely the footing a dominant woman has not offered.
Her first name, if you somehow know it, is off limits unless She uses it Herself on the site. The femdom glossary helps you tell a title from a description on Her profile.
Capital letters and other written protocol
Online, protocol is mostly typed, so it shows up in capital letters. Capitalising She, Her, Hers, You and Your when you address a Mistress is the near-universal courtesy in femdom writing, and it costs nothing. Before She has taken in a single word of your message, it tells Her you know where you stand.
Some Mistresses go further. They may ask you to write i in lowercase for yourself, to call yourself "this one" or "Your servant", or to open every message with Her title. These are Her rules rather than defaults: follow them where Her profile or Her room asks, and write normally otherwise. A title in every clause, or whole lines in capitals, reads as a performance of respect rather than the real thing.
Etiquette in a public room chat
A public room is Her space, shared with everyone watching. It is mostly free to enter and any signed-in member can type in its text chat, which is exactly why manners there get noticed. The members who end up with Her attention tend to share a few habits:
- Read before you type. Rules pinned in the room and the notes on Her profile answer most first questions.
- Greet Her once. "Good evening, Mistress" is enough; repeating it every minute is noise.
- Stay on Her subject. If She is talking about Her boots, your question about something else can wait.
- Never issue instructions. Typing "show your feet" or "say my name" at a dominant woman gets you muted, and deservedly.
- Accept silence. She owes nobody an answer, and being ignored is often a test of patience rather than a rejection.
Following a command in the room
When She gives the whole room an order, such as kneeling while She talks or keeping hands behind the back, follow it without narrating how well you are doing. Nobody watching a public room here is on camera, so She cannot check, and announcing your obedience in chat only makes it about you again. Obey quietly for your own sake.
The slave positions guide describes the postures Mistresses most often call for, and how long to hold them before your knees or back start to object. Discomfort is a reason to shift, not a test to pass.
The first message: a template that works
Visitors can send a Mistress text messages outside sessions, and the first one is where most men lose Her. Messages carry text only, with no photos, videos or other files, which spares everyone a common annoyance. Aim for three or four sentences, along these lines:
"Good evening, Mistress. I have watched Your room several times, and the calm way You set rules is what drew me to You. I am new to online domination and would like a short private built around obedience and instructions; my one hard limit is anything involving pain. Thank you for Your time."
It names Her properly, shows you have watched Her and gives a limit without a lecture. Just as telling is what it leaves out: no fantasy essay, no explicit detail, no request for anything free and no question about a price already on Her card. The guide to finding a dominatrix online covers choosing the right woman in the first place.
Tipping and tribute etiquette
Money has manners of its own. In a public room, tips are how appreciation is shown, and a Mistress who keeps a tribute menu lists named amounts on Her profile and in Her room, with space for a figure of your own. Send whatever you choose without a condition attached. "Here is a tip, now say my name" turns a gift into a purchase order, and dominant women notice the difference at once.
Mention a tip once, if at all, instead of narrating each one. Never talk up a tribute you are not about to send, because promised money that never arrives is how men get blocked. Do not ask for thanks or a reply in exchange. A tribute after a show or a private is the traditional way to say the time was well spent, and the guide to tributes explains what the gesture means in femdom.
What not to do
Most dismissals come from the same short list of mistakes. Each one tells Her you want a performer who takes orders, when She is the one who gives them:
- Demands: anything phrased as an order, a deadline or an expectation, from "do this for me" to "answer me".
- Explicit requests nobody asked for: graphic descriptions of what you want Her to do, sent to Her messages or typed into public chat.
- Haggling: Her rate is on Her card, and asking for a discount, a free minute or a better deal says you value Her time less than She does.
- Topping from the bottom: scripting the session in detail, then correcting Her when She departs from your script.
- Personal questions: Her real name, Her city, Her other accounts; none of it is yours to ask for, whatever you have spent.
- Pushing to move off the site: requests to pay or talk elsewhere make you look like a scammer, and anyone who asks the same of you probably is one.
- Lying: about your limits, your experience or your budget; honesty is what lets Her dominate you safely.
Protocol inside a session, and after it
How much address happens during a session depends on the room. With one of our own Mistresses a private is one-way: you watch and listen, your camera and microphone stay off, and there is no chat box, so She does not see, hear or read you. Your manners are already in place by then, in the message you sent and the way you behaved in Her public room. Some Mistresses tell men to answer each instruction aloud with "Yes, Mistress" anyway, purely for their own discipline; She will not hear it, and nobody pretends She does.
In a LiveJasmin partner room, marked with an arrow (↗), cam2cam and two-way audio can be bought as extras in credits on that site, and there spoken address works much as it would face to face. Afterwards, wherever the session took place, a short thank-you message is the finishing touch: two lines, Her title, no requests.
Questions people ask
Should I call Her Mistress or Goddess?
Whatever Her profile says. Mistresses choose their titles deliberately, and Goddess in particular signals a worship-centred style that not every Domme wants. If neither Her profile nor Her room states a preference, Mistress is the safe choice, and you can simply ask once, politely, how She prefers to be addressed.
Do I have to capitalise Her pronouns?
It is not a site rule, but it is the standard courtesy in femdom writing, and most Mistresses notice when it is missing. Capitalise She, Her, Hers, You and Your when writing to or about Her. A lowercase i for yourself, or referring to yourself in the third person, are extras that only some Mistresses ask for.
What should my first message to a Mistress say?
Her title, one sentence on why you chose Her, one on what you hope for, any hard limits, and thanks for Her time. Keep it to a few lines of text; messages here cannot carry photos or other media anyway. Leave out explicit detail, requests for anything free and questions Her profile already answers.
Is it rude to ask a Mistress for a discount?
Yes. Her per-minute rate is on Her card and profile before you spend anything, and it is Hers to set. Asking for a lower price, a free minute or a trial tells Her you think Her time is worth less than She does. If Her rate is above your budget, keep watching Her public room, or look for a free show on the schedule instead.
Can I talk to Her during a private session?
Not with our own Mistresses. A private here is one-way: you watch and listen, your camera and microphone are off, and there is no chat box, so tell Her what you want before it starts, in a message or in Her public room. Two-way contact exists only in LiveJasmin partner rooms marked ↗, where cam2cam is a paid extra bought in credits.
